Submit File
Ad-Aware SE would not be protecting over 200 million people around the world without your help. For us, it is a partnership - you provide the real-world experience and we provide the in-depth analysis, resulting in an up-to-date Detection Database for everyone! It is a part of the "pass it on" theory that acts as a foundation for our social consciousness here at Lavasoft. While we may not be able to respond to each submission personally, rest assured that each and every suspicious file submitted is reviewed by our Security Center analysts.
How to submit files:
- Fill in your name (optional) and a valid e-mail address. Make sure the e-mail address is entered correctly as we may need to contact you for additional information. You may review our Terms of Use / Privacy Policy for more information concerning information submitted.
- Fill in the path name or use the browse button provided to attach a file for upload. If you have multiple files to submit, please ZIP them into one file before uploading. Your file will not be shared outside Lavasoft. Do NOT password protect uploaded submissions or zipped files.
- In the information box, enter as much information as you can about the suspicious file you are submitting. If it was a request from the Lavasoft Support Forums, please include a link to the thread. Explain exactly what occurs on your system and if you have a link to an installer or company web page, please include that as well.
- Upload size is limited to 20 Megabytes. If your submission is larger, or if your submission does not involve a file upload, please e-mail your submission to research@lavasoft.com.
- Note to users with the VX2 Cleaner: Please submit the actual file that is listed in the VX2 Logs file on disk. Submitting the VX2 Log file tells us the filename, but we also need the physical file to perform a proper analysis.
